Prabakar Ranganathan
Founder, Viepra
Prabakar brings over 20 years of finance and compliance leadership across multi-country, multi-entity operations spanning 5 countries and 12 legal entities. Before founding Viepra, he led regional finance teams of 25+ members for a listed multinational, managing everything from financial consolidation and statutory compliance to treasury, tax, and audit, the exact operational backbone that growing businesses now turn to Viepra for.
His experience includes resolving complex, multi-year VAT audit cases directly with the Uganda Revenue Authority, spearheading SAP ERP implementation and international consolidation, and designing a 24/7 Global Shared Services model that delivered over USD 1 million in annualised savings through process centralisation and standardisation.
Having sat on the other side of the table, as the executive responsible for closing books, satisfying auditors, and managing regulators across jurisdictions, Prabakar founded Viepra with a simple belief: growing companies deserve the same finance discipline as large multinationals, delivered by people who’ve actually run it, not just consulted on it.
